Free Will: Every Choice Carries Energy

· Rosemary, intuitive tarot reader

Every choice we make carries energy, and every choice gives us an opportunity to become more conscious of the life we are creating. I believe we are here on Earth for more than simply moving through our daily routines. We are here to learn, to grow, to experience love, and to recognize the responsibility we carry through our thoughts, words, and actions. Free will is one of the greatest gifts we have been given, but with that gift comes the responsibility to understand how our choices affect ourselves, one another, and the world around us.

From the moment we enter this world, we begin learning from the people and environments surrounding us. Our families, communities, experiences, and beliefs influence how we see ourselves and others. Over time, we can become so accustomed to certain ways of thinking that we forget to question whether those beliefs truly reflect who we are. This is why awareness is so important. When we begin observing our thoughts instead of automatically reacting to them, we create room for a deeper understanding of ourselves. As an intuitive energy reader, I mirror the thoughts, emotions, and energy I perceive so others can recognize themselves from a different perspective. I do not tell people what to do. I share what I see, because every soul has its own journey and the freedom to make its own choices. My purpose is to help people become more aware of what they are carrying within themselves so they can recognize patterns, understand their emotions, and reconnect with their own inner wisdom.

One of the greatest lessons we can learn during our time on Earth is that knowledge alone does not make us wise. We can spend our entire lives gathering information, seeking answers, and learning about the mysteries of existence, but true wisdom is revealed through the choices we make. What good is knowledge if we use it to control, deceive, or harm another soul? Having access to information does not automatically mean we have developed the understanding or compassion to use it responsibly. Think about how much knowledge humanity has gained. We have learned to communicate across the world, explore the heavens, understand the human body, and create technology that previous generations could hardly imagine. Yet with all this knowledge, humanity continues to struggle with greed, division, dishonesty, and the desire for power over others. This teaches us something important. Our ability to advance intellectually does not always mean we have grown spiritually. Wisdom requires more than knowing. It requires understanding the responsibility that comes with what we know.

Free will gives us the ability to choose how we respond to the world around us. We cannot control every experience or hardship that enters our lives, and not everyone is given the same opportunities or circumstances. But within the choices available to us, we can practice awareness, compassion, and responsibility. We can choose whether to repeat harmful patterns or begin recognizing them. We can choose whether to respond with understanding or allow anger and fear to guide our actions. And when we make mistakes, we can choose to learn, take responsibility, and grow. When I speak about raising our frequency, I am speaking about becoming more conscious of the energy we bring into our everyday lives. It is not about pretending that pain, sadness, or difficult emotions do not exist. Those emotions are part of the human experience. What matters is how we recognize them, understand them, and decide what to do with them. We can experience hurt without choosing to hurt someone else. We can disagree without losing compassion. We can establish healthy boundaries while still carrying love within our hearts.

Our choices also extend beyond ourselves. The way we speak to someone, the kindness we offer, the fairness we practice, and the compassion we show can influence another person’s day and sometimes even the direction of their life. In this way, our individual awareness contributes to the collective consciousness of humanity. We are not separate from the world we are helping create. Every interaction gives us another opportunity to bring greater understanding into it. I believe one of the most important parts of spiritual awakening is recognizing that awareness comes with responsibility. As our understanding grows, so does our opportunity to make more conscious choices. Awakening is not about becoming superior to another person or believing we possess knowledge that makes us more important. It is about developing the humility to recognize how much we still have to learn and the compassion to share what we understand without judgment. There is a difference between discovering something and understanding what to do with that discovery. Knowledge can open our minds, but wisdom teaches us how to live. We can search the heavens, study ancient civilizations, explore consciousness, and seek answers to the mysteries of existence. Yet the most important lessons are often revealed in the simplest moments of our lives. How do we treat someone who cannot offer us anything in return? Do we choose honesty when dishonesty would benefit us? Can we recognize another person’s pain without making it about ourselves? These are the moments when our spiritual understanding becomes visible through our actions. I believe Earth is a school for the soul, a place where we experience the consequences of our choices and have opportunities to grow in awareness. We are not here to become greater than one another. We are here to learn how to live with greater understanding, fairness, balance, and love. Every person we encounter has their own experiences, lessons, and challenges. Remembering this helps us approach one another with compassion instead of judgment. Take a quiet moment today and become aware of the energy you are bringing into your life. Notice your thoughts, your emotions, and the choices before you. You do not have to be perfect, and you do not have to understand everything at once. Growth begins when we become willing to see ourselves more clearly and recognize that we can make different choices as our awareness expands.

The greatest awakening is not simply discovering what has been hidden from humanity. It is learning how to live with wisdom once our eyes have been opened.

Knowledge can awaken the mind, but it is the choices we make with that knowledge that reveal the wisdom of the soul. ✨
