Refunds and Rescheduling

Effective 17 October 2026.

I keep this short so you can read it before you pay. The one-sentence version, which sits beside every price on the site: readings are prepaid and can be moved with 24 hours' notice; memberships cancel in one click and stop at the end of the month or year you've paid for.

Readings

You pay for a reading on this site, through Stripe, and then pick a time in your Sanctuary. Readings are not refundable (if you live in the UK or the EU, see your 14 days below). A reading you haven't booked yet waits in your Sanctuary and never expires, and that includes every reading in a pack of three or five. Once you pick a time, I hold it for you, and I turn other people away from it.

You can move a reading to another time free of charge, as long as you give me at least 24 hours' notice. Open Bookings in your Sanctuary, or email hello@healingtarotreadings.org. You can move a booking up to two times; after that, write to me. If you cancel there with at least 24 hours' notice, the reading goes back into your Sanctuary to book another time.

If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, or you don't show up, the reading is forfeited and the payment stays with me. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late I may treat the reading as a no-show. If I can still see you, the reading ends at the time it was due to end.

If I have to cancel, or I miss a reading, you choose: a new time (the reading goes straight back into your Sanctuary), or a full refund to the card you paid with. If the call drops because of a problem on my side, we finish by phone, or I book the remaining time with you at no charge.

If you're unwell or something serious happens on the day, email me. I'm a person, and I'd rather move your reading than keep your money when life has gotten in the way.

Questions

A written question is paid for in advance, like a reading, and never expires. I answer every question myself. If I can't read for one, I give it back to you to ask again; I don't refund a question once it's answered.

Memberships

Membership renews every month, or every year on a yearly plan, until you cancel. Cancel any time in one click from Sanctuary → Membership, or by emailing hello@healingtarotreadings.org. Your membership stays open until the end of the month or year you've paid for, then stops. I don't refund part of a month or year, and I don't refund time you didn't use, except in your first 14 days if you live in the UK or the EU (below). Yearly members get an email 15 to 45 days before each renewal, so a renewal never comes as a surprise.

If you were charged after you canceled, or charged twice, email me and I'll refund the extra payment right away. If I change a price, I'll email you between 7 and 30 days before it takes effect, and you can cancel before the new price is charged.

Please email me before asking your bank to reverse a charge. I answer within three days, and I'll fix any mistake. A chargeback on a payment that was correct closes the membership.

Gifts

A gift card never expires and has no fees. If the gift hasn't been used, the person who bought it can ask for a refund: email hello@healingtarotreadings.org and I'll refund the card it was paid with and cancel the gift. Once it has been used (redeemed into someone's Sanctuary), a gift isn't refundable; the readings or the balance it became are the recipient's, under the rules on this page.

A gift balance under $10 can be paid out in cash on request: email hello@healingtarotreadings.org and I'll send it to you, and the balance goes to zero. A gift membership is paid once and never renews; when it ends, nothing is charged.

Group events

A seat at a group event (a bedtime sound bath, a moon circle, a small circle) can be cancelled up to 24 hours before it starts for a full refund: open the event's page and choose Cancel my seat, or email hello@healingtarotreadings.org. Closer to the time than that, the seat stays yours and isn't refunded; the recording still comes to you the next morning, so you don't lose the hour.

If I cancel an event, everyone with a ticket gets their money back in full, to the card they paid with (or to their gift balance, if that's how they paid). If the technology fails on my side and the event can't go ahead, the same applies. If an event is full, you can join the waitlist; if a seat opens, it's kept for you for a while and you get an email.

A monthly pass gives you a seat at each of its nights. Email me before a night and I'll refund the nights still to come. If I cancel one of its nights, I refund that night's share of the pass.

If you're picked to be read on air, you can always say no. Nothing about your seat or your recording changes.

Thank-yous

Live readings. The same rules as any reading: moved or cancelled with 24 hours' notice. If I cancel the live, if it ends before your turn, or if the technology fails on my side, the reading comes back to you to book again, or I refund it if you ask.

Gifts on my lives and videos. A gift you send me during a live or under a video can't be refunded once it's sent. Money you add to your gift balance stays yours until you spend it: it never expires, and if your balance is under $10 you can ask me for it in cash. If you change your mind about money you added and haven't spent, email hello@healingtarotreadings.org and I'll refund it to the card you paid with. If you were charged twice or by mistake, email me and I'll put it right.

A thank-you is a gift to me, so it isn't refundable. If you were charged twice or by mistake, email me and I'll put it right.

If you live in the UK or the EU

If you live in the UK, the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Norway, the law gives you 14 days from the day you pay to cancel something you buy from me online.

Before you pay for a reading, a question, a seat at a group event, a gift or money for your gift balance, the checkout asks you to tick a box: "I want this to start right away. I understand that once it starts I lose my 14-day right to cancel." Until your reading starts, or I start answering your question, you can still cancel within those 14 days and I'll refund you in full. Each reading in a pack counts on its own. Once a reading has started with your agreement, your 14-day right ends for that reading, and the rules above apply. A gift that hasn't been used, and gift balance you haven't spent, can be refunded any time you ask, as above.

For a membership the box says: "I want my membership to start right away. If I cancel within 14 days I'll get back the part I haven't used." If you cancel within 14 days of joining, email me or reply to the email that confirms you cancelled, and I'll refund the part of the month or year you haven't used and end the membership that day.

To cancel, email hello@healingtarotreadings.org or tell me in any other clear way. I refund within 14 days of hearing from you, to the card or PayPal account you paid with.

The Oracle

Oracle readings are included in your tier as a daily allowance. Readings you don't use on a given day don't carry over, and they aren't refundable. If the Oracle is down for a long stretch, email me and we'll put it right.

How to ask

Email hello@healingtarotreadings.org with the name and email you booked or joined with, and what you need. I reply within three days. Refunds go back to the card you paid with, through Stripe, and usually show within five to ten business days.

Nothing on this page takes away a right you have under your state's law, federal law or the law where you live that can't be waived.
