Older astrology gave this house to Pisces and Neptune and called it the house of secret enemies. It was read for unseen troubles, seclusion, and how much freedom a person would have.
For a nation it stood for its prisons, hospitals and asylums. I read it far more gently today, as the house of what we keep to ourselves.

Everyone needs a place to be unseen for a while. Rest is part of the cycle.
