What this house holds
This house is where the mind goes past the everyday. Faith, philosophy, study, dreams and visions, and travel to faraway places.
Where the third house is the street you live on, the ninth is the world beyond it.
How it was read before
Older astrology gave this house to Sagittarius and Jupiter. It was read for religion, philosophy, long voyages, especially by sea, and dealings with people from other countries.
For a nation it held churches, the law courts, shipping and the findings of science.
